Mr. Rejaul Karim FCA is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) with extensive expertise in financial management, taxation, VAT, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance. He completed his Chartered Accountancy articleship at Howladar Yunus & Co., a member firm of Grant Thornton International, in 2011, the same year he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. He is also an enlisted VAT and Tax Consultant with the National Board of Revenue of Bangladesh.

Prior to establishing himself as a public accountant, Mr. Karim served as a Financial Management Specialist at the Asian Development Bank (ADB) since 2015, providing expert financial advisory on project financing, risk assessment, and financial control mechanisms. Before that, he was Vice President at National Life Insurance Company, overseeing financial operations, regulatory compliance, and risk management. His experience in the audit sector includes working at Howladar Yunus & Co., where he gained significant expertise in auditing, financial reporting, and assurance services.

Throughout his career, Mr. Karim has worked with various organizations as a financial, legal, and tax consultant, accumulating extensive experience in accounting system design, project management, project financing through debt and equity, tax and VAT compliance, business negotiations, and regulatory affairs. His interest in theoretical and applied research has led him to contribute to publications in international accounting, IAS/IFRS, forensic accounting, social accounting, and capital markets, both nationally and internationally.

In addition to his professional practice, Mr. Karim is a resource person (lecturer) at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB), where he specializes in income tax, VAT, and corporate law. He has contributed significantly to the development of taxation and corporate regulations in Bangladesh.
